Dr. Gorur Shrinivas leads Data Engineering at Target and is focused on enhancing our guests’ connection to Target and
improving the company’s operations through the use of data and analytics.
Shrini has a strong track record in product engineering, technology strategy, entrepreneurship and numerical analysis. He loves
problem-solving, especially when it involves innovatively using technology to solve transformative business problems with
significant positive impact to society and community. He is also committed to mentoring startups and enhancing gender diversity
in technology.
Outside of work, he loves spending time with his family, reading, gardening and traveling. He also enjoys all things space and
science. Shrinivas holds a doctorate degree from the University of Oxford.
